Our Founding
Built From a Personal Journey
2nd Act Career Services was founded in 2025 by Clint Calvert, a Board Certified Chaplain with over 20 years of experience walking alongside people in transition. After completing his own life plan in late 2024, Clint gained renewed clarity about his calling — and launched 2nd Act to help others do the same.
Incorporated in March 2025 and officially launched in September 2025, 2nd Act operates as a project of the New Horizons Foundation and is based in Rochester, MN.
In our first year we served 24 people. We've since grown our team, added coaches, and built partnerships across the region. We're just getting started.
